For the first time, Mamo Najhin, a shaman from the Indigenous Arhuaco community in Colombia, will come to Europe. This is a unique opportunity to experience the ancient wisdom and traditions of the Mamos, who are regarded as guardians of natural balance.  Mamo Najhin will lead a session at the beginning of the festival, where all participants will gather for a moment of connection and intention.

In 2006, Ruben Dewulf was introduced to Lu Jong – Tibetan Healing Movements – and Brain Gym. We grew up in the enchanting nature theater of Oisterwijk, where our parents performed in fairy-tale plays every year. Drawde became a director, Linte kept shining on stage — and together, we took lots of face painting courses, especially for children!

For a while, our magic case stayed closed...

But since the arrival of Saga (Drawde’s 3-year-old daughter), the face painting fun is back in full swing! Every week, we transform her — and other children — into cheerful tigers, fairies, dragons, and dream creatures.

Learning Together: Learning from a Place of Calm and Connection - What if education didn’t start with performance, but with well-being, calm, and authenticity?

In a warm home in Mortsel (Antwerp), the project Learning Together has been guiding young people aged 12 to 19 who learn differently for over ten years. A place where every teenager is allowed to land, grow, and learn to trust themselves again.

As soon as I step inside, I feel it immediately: this is no ordinary school environment.

No ringing bells or traditional classrooms here, but a cozy living space with a large table, an open kitchen, and a soft, serene atmosphere.

A group of teenagers work with focus on their personal learning paths. They are supported by four enthusiastic coaches who guide them towards obtaining their secondary school diploma through the Examination Board.

For those who struggle in mainstream education

"Many of our young people have had a bumpy road in the traditional school system," says the coordinator.

"With us, they find a space to come back to themselves, to feel safe and grow at their own pace."

Each student registers for a study track with the Examination Board at the start. That requires structure and support, especially since many students first need to relearn how to learn.

The coaches co-create a weekly schedule with each student (and sometimes their parents) that suits their individual needs and rhythm.

Well-being as the foundation

One of the core values of the Learning Together non-profit is the emotional well-being of its young people.

"A student can only absorb knowledge and find meaning in it when they feel good on the inside. That’s why we focus not only on cognitive development, but also on personal growth and inner happiness."

Every teen is given the space to discover and develop their unique talents — first for themselves, and later also in service of others and the world around them. But this process begins with letting go of stress and limiting beliefs.
