Briony is the founder of the Butterfly Brain Learning project and the organizer of the School of magic Festival.

About the organizer, Briony Vanden Bussche:

With a deep passion for innovation in education and entrepreneurship, Briony leads the Butterfly Brain project and is the author of the book Activate Superpowers with Butterfly Brain Learning.

Over the years, she has coached hundreds of schools, integrating cognitive skills, artistic expression, and intuitive development through innovative educational methods that bring learning to life with multidimensional stories and fairy tales. She also founded an innovative primary school in Belgium, where she served as director for several years. For over 20 years, she has been offering transformative programs for educators, parents, and teachers, empowering them to help children develop dream power, self-confidence, emotional balance, and even superlearning abilities. She is board member of a school for teens in Belgium.

Beyond education, she is passionate about entrepreneurship and quantum - unlimited thinking. Over the past 12 years, she has launched various initiatives, including events with up to 3,000 attendees, bridging education, business, and personal growth. She coaches entrepreneurs to break boundaries, embrace their dreams, and amplify their impact.

Her mission is to support humanity in shaping a future where holistic and sustainable living, working, and learning become the new standard. Through the Societies for the Future movement, she is co-creating a world where innovation and heart-centered transformation go hand in hand.

Fabienne Huygen is co-creator of the Butterfly Brain learning materials through dance and yoga. For many years, she co-presented the Elf Theater with Briony. She is a professional dancer and dance educator. From a young age, she discovered the magic of sound and color. She is also a certified yoga teacher and holistic massage therapist.

Fabienne has years of experience with Indian temple dance and currently offers Sjhiva-Shakti dance, in which alignment and ritual gestures are woven together with movements of grace and joy for life. Fabienne has lived for several years in the south of France, in a highly energetic place near the hot springs of Rennes-les-Bains. She offers retreats for individuals and groups focused on deep renewal.

Willy Zon Lievens (47Hex), born under the sign of Pisces, has already swum through many magical waters.

Always seeking the link between past and future, nature and technology, fantasy and science — with quite a few extra twists in his DNA.

As a teacher of ICT-Electronics, he came into contact very early on with the magical world of electrons and magnetism.

He is a passionate cosplayer, elf lover, and dragon lover. He shares a special bond with his primal mother, the sea, with Mother Nature, and the Phoenix.

He is also active as a sustainable energy wizard at the project "De Zonne-arc" in Poperinge-Proven, where he lives together with a white witch.

In 2006, Ruben Dewulf was introduced to Lu Jong – Tibetan Healing Movements – and Brain Gym. This powerful combination of exercises balances both hemispheres of the brain, refines fine motor skills, increases body flexibility, and strengthens inner power. Transform Yourself at the School of Magic Festival! Do you love glitter, rainbows, and magical colors? Then be sure to stop by our face painting session at the Magic Festival! We are Drawde and Olinte — and we’ve been doing magic since we were little!

We grew up in the enchanting nature theater of Oisterwijk, where our parents performed in fairy-tale plays every year. Drawde became a director, Linte kept shining on stage — and together, we took lots of face painting courses, especially for children!

For a while, our magic case stayed closed...

But since the arrival of Saga (Drawde’s 3-year-old daughter), the face painting fun is back in full swing! Every week, we transform her — and other children — into cheerful tigers, fairies, dragons, and dream creatures.

And our case? It's now filled with glitter, rainbows, and magical colors!

We can't wait to make your face shine at the Magic Festival too!

Learning Together: Learning from a Place of Calm and Connection - What if education didn’t start with performance, but with well-being, calm, and authenticity?

In a warm home in Mortsel (Antwerp), the project Learning Together has been guiding young people aged 12 to 19 who learn differently for over ten years. A place where every teenager is allowed to land, grow, and learn to trust themselves again.

As soon as I step inside, I feel it immediately: this is no ordinary school environment.

No ringing bells or traditional classrooms here, but a cozy living space with a large table, an open kitchen, and a soft, serene atmosphere.

A group of teenagers work with focus on their personal learning paths. They are supported by four enthusiastic coaches who guide them towards obtaining their secondary school diploma through the Examination Board.

For those who struggle in mainstream education

"Many of our young people have had a bumpy road in the traditional school system," says the coordinator.

"With us, they find a space to come back to themselves, to feel safe and grow at their own pace."

Each student registers for a study track with the Examination Board at the start. That requires structure and support, especially since many students first need to relearn how to learn.

The coaches co-create a weekly schedule with each student (and sometimes their parents) that suits their individual needs and rhythm.

Well-being as the foundation

One of the core values of the Learning Together non-profit is the emotional well-being of its young people.

"A student can only absorb knowledge and find meaning in it when they feel good on the inside. That’s why we focus not only on cognitive development, but also on personal growth and inner happiness."

Every teen is given the space to discover and develop their unique talents — first for themselves, and later also in service of others and the world around them. But this process begins with letting go of stress and limiting beliefs.
