Book Asiro and the Magical Signs

Let yourself be touched by the story of Asiro… and together discover the magical world of the Magical Signs.

A holistic learning adventure filled with emotion, magic, and language.

Asiro and the Magical Signs

Once upon a time… there was a boy who was born inside a flower. His name is Asiro. All the flowers love him, and he is always cheerful—until a rose pricks him, and his heart begins to harden. This marks the start of a powerful, poetic, and healing story about pain, connection, emotions, and inner growth.

Asiro and the Magical Signs is more than just a book. It is a complete, enchanting learning world in which children, through story, are introduced to social, emotional, intuitive, and cognitive skills.

You can also combine it with the online Butterfly Brain Training, where—thanks to animation videos, songs, dances, yoga, creative exercises, butterfly brain gym, and dream journeys—lesson moments become vivid, exciting, and deeply meaningful.

The magical signs form a bridge between dream and think consciousness, between inner feeling and concrete learning.

The story

Asiro’s adventure begins in a flower meadow where he grows up surrounded by love, until he is hurt for the first time—by a rose, a hedgehog, a tree… and, finally, by another child.

With each experience, painful hard spots begin to form around his heart.

Until one day, the wise wizard Alruin appears and brings a magical sign to life… opening up a new world in which magical characters—each a Magical Sign—teach him how to deal with feelings, energy, and connection.

Meet the Magical Signs

  • Ita, the sunbeam, teaches children how to deal with anger and inner explosions (vowel “i”)
  • Emut, the bird of sound and colour, helps them understand and process emotions (vowel “e”)
  • Aloha, the flower heart, shows children how to reopen their hearts and send energy balls to one another and to themselves (vowel “a”)
  • Olea, the rainbow octopus, teaches children to strengthen their rainbow shield and rainbow field (vowel “o”)
  • Uni, a singing bowl, awakens unity and cooperation through her sounds (vowel “u”)

And that’s only the beginning…

If you want to continue after the magical vowels with the consonants and the magical number signs, you can do so with the complete Butterfly Brain Learning Package.

Each Magical Sign is linked to a letter or number figure, with its own song, story, movement, writing style, and character.

Learning effortlessly through play

All elements of the Butterfly Brain programme are seamlessly woven into the story. The Magical Signs form the bridge between dream and thinking consciousness, between inner feeling and concrete learning.

Through the storyline, children remain curious about the next episode, which leads to deeper learning and emotional engagement.

You can choose to purchase the book together with the Online Butterfly Brain Vowel Package.

For each Magical Sign you will receive:

  • Animated video of the fairy tale
  • Letter song to sing and dance along with
  • Letter story and writing integrated with magical movement

Through the Butterfly Brain learning materials, children learn to keep their entire Butterfly Brain active and open, develop social-emotional and intuitive skills, and acquire new knowledge at an accelerated pace in a very playful way.

These materials are suitable as a starting point for thematic lessons in the classroom, as homeschooling resources, or as supporting materials for coaches.

Multidimensional
Stories

All Butterfly Brain learning materials are woven into an engaging storyline, supported by animated videos and interactive exercises. This makes children eager to discover the next episode and experience the learning process as meaningful.
Through encounters with magical letters and numbers—each a real character with a unique personality—children naturally develop social-emotional and intuitive skills. They learn to care for themselves, others, animals, and nature.
Each character is linked to specific social-emotional and intuitive skills, language traits, sound awareness, writing patterns, or quantities, making the learning process deep and vibrant.

Flash Learning for the Youngest Ones

Learn languages and math effortlessly and at an accelerated pace through flash learning. Flash learning helps children build an inner library of images, words, and concepts. This information can later be activated when their thinking brain develops further, allowing for greater expression. This method is especially suited for children aged 0 to 7, as they are still deeply connected to dream consciousness.

What’s included?
  • 26 videos per language, each lasting 10 minutes
  • Each video includes over 300 words, images, and concepts
  • Eye exercises and speed reading techniques
  • Extensive themed vocabulary: animals, the body, fruits and vegetables, home environment, musical instruments, trees, flowers, herbs and stones, action verbs, sports, transport, professions
  • Musical development: music theory and perfect pitch
  • Math concepts & quantities, science, geography (countries, planets…)
These flash learning videos are also ideal for non-native speakers

Creative Expression
&  Butterfly brain gym

Each theme lesson includes additional creative expression exercises:
  • Visual arts: drawing, painting, and crafting
  • Singing: each theme has its own theme song
  • Movement: each lesson includes a dance, yoga, and massage session
  • Playful learning is woven into all Butterfly Brain lessons.
Each theme lesson also includes a specific song with Butterfly Brain gym movements, dance, and eye exercises that stimulate coordination between the left and right hemispheres of the brain, as well as the connection between think and dream talent.
These exercises also strengthen the corpus callosum — the neural bridge that connects both hemispheres.

Breath, Sleep & Dream learning

Older children (8+), teenagers, and adults can accelerate their learning through:
  • Breath Learning: By practicing rhythmic breathing combined with specific information, you can enhance your ability to absorb knowledge through your dream consciousness.
  • Sleep Learning: During sleep, you can listen to specific information paired with particular frequencies, helping you remain in an optimal state for absorbing information. These materials are available in audio format.
  • Dream Learning: During dream journeys, you will visualize 3D images using all your senses, as if you are in a holographic world. These exercises help you connect with your “dream consciousness database,” retrieve information, stimulate dream power, and positively influence your life and emotions.
Younger children also benefit from these sessions, but since they still spend much of their day in dream consciousness, these audios can also be played as background music.

Photographic Memory Training

Photographic memory, or total recall, is the ability to vividly recall an image from memory with high precision—after seeing it only once, and even for a short period of time.
Each thematic lesson includes its own observation training, photographic memory exercises, and speed-reading lessons. These exercises help train your vision, enabling you to store more details in your dream consciousness and make your memory more vivid. They foster a strong connection between the thinking and dream consciousness.

Feeling and intuition are fun!

Butterfly Brain Learning is a deeply transformative process – Annelien, mother of Rosalie, 6y

Butterfly Brain Learning brought us so much more than just learning letters. On a deep level, it connected us with our essence and helped us better understand earthly mechanisms. By walking this path together, we have developed a deeper understanding of each other and created a harmonious space where learning truly becomes a magical process.

Sometimes, you just know deep inside that you're about to find an important key—an answer to a question that has been living in you for a long time. For me and my daughter Rosalie, who was just about to start first grade, Butterfly Brain Learning was exactly that key.

The months leading up to September 1st, I felt an undefined restlessness. We were incredibly happy at our free-spirited, playful Freinet school, where children learn with open hearts and full enthusiasm. And yet… something felt missing. I noticed how Rosalie kept struggling with the flat, rational 3D way of thinking. While her deep philosophical insights flowed effortlessly and her loving nature blossomed, she just couldn't seem to grasp the purely practical learning material.

My intuition was confirmed when, in the first few weeks, she had trouble remembering separate letters—letters without deeper meaning or a larger, connected story.

💡 And then we discovered Butterfly Brain Learning.

Suddenly, every letter became an adventure. With wide, sparkling eyes, Rosalie soaked up the stories, feeling them on every level. And every single day, I heard:

“Just one more video, Mom?”

The first letter, Ikkerdetik, made an unforgettable impression. Whenever someone at home got angry or "exploded," I’d hear the kids instinctively say:

🌬️ "Breathe in, breathe out, place your feet on the ground, and make a sound..."

Again and again, I was amazed at how clearly they understood the deeper layers.

"You just want to be heard and seen… and you’re afraid that no one understands you."

Truth from the mouth of a child.

They effortlessly integrated these insights into their daily lives. They also instinctively grasped the difference between the ego version (I-bomb) and the higher version (Isa) of each letter. More than that—they realized they had a choice in how they responded. And they could articulate it perfectly to us, their parents!

Learning with the heart, thinking in stories, living in connection.

Children discover a deeper layer of themselves through Butterfly Brain Learning, in a playful and natural way without losing their authenticity, – Anouk van Rooij-Sjardin, Play Therapy & Developmental Coach

I find it truly beautiful and remarkable how effortlessly you weave the multidimensional with the earthly and practical, in a way that deeply resonates with children.

Butterfly Brain Learning creates a space where emotions take shape, supported by mental clarity that opens the door to growth and understanding. The foundation of it all? Unconditional love and acceptance.

Thank you for your perseverance, vision, and love in this pioneering work.

The Butterfly Brain Learning course is a beautiful gift to yourself. I understand my daughter better. I can truly connect with her emotional and mental world. And now, I can say that I see the child within me again—every day a little more. Elke, mother of Nimbe (6 y.o.)

During my pregnancy with Nime, the Covid pandemic broke out. That was when the idea of homeschooling started to grow.

The idea of following your child’s natural rhythm and allowing more space for free expression and connection with nature really spoke to me.

At that perfect moment, Briony crossed my path. I followed the Rainbow Talent Plan and the energetic training.

I thought my journey was complete… until Briony told me about Butterfly Brain Learning. Her eyes lit up, and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

At that point, my daughter Nime had just started preschool, but I immediately saw Butterfly Brain Learning as a beautiful complement, a real enrichment for her.

Now I know: it’s a journey of discovery you take together.

I understand my daughter better, I can deeply connect with her feelings and thoughts.

And honestly? I might be the one who needed these lessons the most 🙂

The letter lessons appear light and joyful, but if you truly feel into them as an adult, so much comes to the surface—your own fears, patterns, insecurities, self-sabotaging thoughts. Everything that was still stored as unprocessed emotion in my body was allowed to come out.

And now I can say I see the child in me again—every day a little more.

And it feels wonderful. That freedom. That playfulness. That joy. That sincere wonder for all the beauty around me

In short: the Butterfly Brain Learning course is a beautiful gift to yourself.

This training, with seemingly small tasks, is a true gem. Sabine Baeyens, Qigong Sensory Therapy - Make Children Better. The online assignments and tasks, which gradually guide you deeper into the subject, have a much deeper impact than I could have ever imagined. I move from lesson to lesson at my own pace—it's wonderful, no pressure, no obligations.

Experiences of participants

Butterfly Brain Learning is a wonderful and connecting challenge that I undertake together with my almost 6-year-old daughter. I use it as inspiration for homeschooling, and it provides me with both structure and a clear framework to work within. It is a playful and exploratory journey towards free and intuitive learning that inspires us both immensely.

Claudia

Through this method, I not only learn a lot about my daughter, but also about myself and the way I present learning materials or have learned things myself. It constantly encourages me to fully trust my daughter's intrinsic learning system, which strengthens her confidence in learning.

Wherever we go, we build little fairy houses, and we dance and sing together in the living room. The magic symbols are becoming more and more present in our daily lives, and the excitement for the next new letter grows every time.

Sometimes I think it would be wonderful to do these exercises together with more children. This is something I definitely want to implement in our homeschooling group in the future.

The combination of movement, play, and multisensory learning not only helps me work more creatively with the children I support but also benefits me personally.

The extra live days bring a deeper connection that is hard to describe but gives me a lot of energy and joy.

My 1.5-year-old daughter sings the letter songs with passion and spontaneously starts counting. — Jennifer

My 3-year-old daughter spontaneously discovers letters in books after attending the Butterfly Brain lessons. — Drawde

Today, Saga started talking about Butterfly Brain learning all by herself. She really wanted to watch a video, so we watched Babaji the Whale. We wrote the letter together, and recently, while walking through a center, she recognized several letters on the building’s facade. I’m so incredibly proud of her — she’s almost 3 and can already write and recognize several letters with both hands.

My 5-year-old son has fewer anger outbursts and can calm himself more easily using the Butterfly Brain breathing techniques.

— Renate

Since we started with Butterfly Brain Learning, I’ve noticed that Bas not only gets to fully express his curiosity, but he also finds emotional calm. He’s naturally very eager to learn—asking endless questions since he was little because he truly wants to understand everything. He absolutely loves the letter symbols: crafting them, recognizing them, doing worksheets, watching the flash videos… he’s so enthusiastic about it all.

But what touches me most is how the songs and stories help him come back to himself. He sings some of the songs spontaneously several times a day—the breathing song is a real hit. They give him insight, but also bring peace to his system. He’s learning to better express what he feels and is starting to consciously breathe more calmly.

He enjoys working with the 'mask', although I notice he still takes things very literally. When I tell him to “feel where the ball is,” he starts looking for it with his hands. Explaining abstract things like that can still be a bit tricky.

He tends to avoid the dances, finger exercises, or giving massages—though he really enjoys receiving them. And closing his eyes or imagining things is still not comfortable for him.

Still, I can see how much he gets out of it, in his own way. He’s growing not only in knowledge, but also in self-confidence and inner calm. That’s incredibly valuable to me as a parent.
