Every child is born a genius

“Who am I?” we often ask ourselves. But maybe that’s not the right question. Perhaps we should ask: “What am I?”

Because as soon as you ask that question, you’re not looking for an identity – you’re searching for consciousness. And that’s exactly where the key lies for the schools of the future.

“Who am I?” we often ask ourselves. But maybe that’s not the right question. Perhaps we should ask: “What am I?”

Because as soon as you ask that question, you’re not looking for an identity – you’re searching for consciousness. And that’s exactly where the key lies for the schools of the future.

In today’s education system, we often focus one-sidedly on knowledge. Reasoning, thinking, "performance" gets all the attention, while the magic – of intuition, imagination, and feeling – is brushed off as less important.

But who still dares to say today: “Every child is a genius”? And more importantly: who dares to act accordingly?

Children are still open – completely open

Children are born with full consciousness. Not half, not vague, not ignorant – but whole. They feel, they know, they see. Their pineal gland – often linked to intuitive perception – is still wide open. They don’t just live in this world but in multiple dimensions at once.

They are creative, sensitive, connected. And yes, they are geniuses – each in their own unique way.

But then... comes the adjustment.

Then comes school.

Then comes the “musts.”

And little by little, they forget their greatness.

They forget their own superpower.

What if it’s not the children who need to learn, but the adults?
If we truly want to renew the school system, we must start with the parents, the mentors, the teachers. We, the adults, have been shaped by an outdated system – with boxes, tests, and averages. But children no longer fit in that system. They’ve evolved. They are already more.

The real task lies with us as adults: we must upgrade. Learn to feel. Learn to listen. Learn to slow down and reconnect. Only then can we guide children instead of controlling them. Only then can we truly support the new generation.

New schools don’t start with buildings, but with awareness.
While writing our book about Butterfly Brain Learning – a method that activates both thinking and dreaming – we realized: we don’t have to wait for perfection. We must begin with vision. With a deep conviction that every child is more than numbers, behavior, or academic performance. Every child is a unique expression of consciousness. A source of potential.

But to let that power bloom, they need adults who also dare to grow. Who are willing to look beyond what they’ve been taught. Who have the courage to heal their inner child and learn to see again.

From “What do you know?” to “Who are you?”
Instead of overwhelming children with information, we should bring out their inner wisdom. Not fill, but uncover. Because a genius isn’t full of facts. A genius is someone who is connected to their own unique way of knowing, feeling, and creating.

So the question is: do we dare? Do we dare to see children for who they truly are?
Geniuses. Conscious souls. Creative powerhouses.

And are we willing to become students again ourselves?

En un mundo que cambia rápidamente, los niños necesitan un lugar donde puedan ser realmente ellos mismos. Donde aprender no se trate de rendir, sino de conectar. Donde la cabeza, el corazón, las manos y el alma trabajen juntas. - Ina Vandenberge
